A powerflush is a cleaning process which aims to remove any rust, sludge, limescale and corrosive deposits from your heating system.
We highly recommend a power flush for your heating system to make it more efficient, which can save you money in the long run on energy bills. We also recommend that you have a powerflush if you are having a new boiler fitted, as its warranty may not be valid if no power flush of the existing radiators and pipes was conducted prior to its installation.
One of our engineers will connect a powerflush machine to your heating system at either the tails of a radiator, the boiler or a standard circulator pump coupling, where ever is the most convenient point for you. The powerflush machine will flush water and cleansing chemicals at a high velocity through the whole system, but at a low pressure rate so as not to damage your system.
A power flush will normally take between 4- 8 hours, depending on the size and condition of the system.
Our engineers are able to restore the full circulation of water around your central heating system through a powerflush. A power flush can also potentially solve many common central heating problems such as, noise from the boiler and pump, radiator cold spots and fluctuating hot water temperature.
