Although not a legal requirement, it is recommended to have a boiler service annually in order to ensure there are no faults, which if left undetected could escalate and lead to an expensive breakdown. The cost of a boiler service is much cheaper than parts and labour or call out charges, in the event of a breakdown.
Another reason to have a boiler service is to give you piece of mind that you and your family/tenants are safe in your home. Routine safety checks are carried out to ensure there are no gas/Carbon Monoxide leaks. If you don’t service a boiler, you will not have the opportunity to catch the leak early to be able to have it remedied, so that there is no chance of suffering from Carbon Monoxide poisoning. Carbon Monoxide poisoning is very serious, symptoms include headaches, dizziness, nausea and hyperventilation. In the worst cases it can lead to seizures, loss of consciousness and even death.
Only Gas Safe registered engineers should conduct a boiler service for boilers part of a gas central heating system.

We will give you a 2 hour time slot, as we realise that your time is important and no-one likes to hang around all day waiting for engineers to arrive. It will then take approximately 30- 45 minutes to service a boiler.
Do not wait until you have a problem to book in a boiler service. At any point your boiler becomes faulty, it is advisable to book in a boiler service at that time, instead of waiting for your annual boiler service.
